As an all-volunteer staff, the Butler Fire Department has a passion for protecting the people and property in our community. Our fire personnel dedicate countless hours—on top of their work and family responsibilities—to respond to fires and other emergencies, provide fire safety training to local businesses, and participate in Fire Prevention Week with local schools.

Additionally, our staff of nearly 20 volunteer firefighters participates in monthly drills and classroom sessions to ensure we maintain the latest certifications and have up-to-date training.

The Butler Fire Department works closely with other local emergency response teams in order to protect the people and property involved in a fire, accident or natural disaster. Staffed 24 hours a day, the department operates out of one station with nine fire trucks.
