Board of Zoning Appeals

The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) hears appeals of the zoning ordinance such as variances and special exceptions. The Board makes written findings of fact and is the final decision-making body for petitions it hears.

The Board of Zoning Appeals meets the second Monday of January, March, May, July, September, and November if a petition has been filed. The meetings are in the Butler City Hall at 120 West Main Street and begin at 6:30 PM. If no petition has been filed, the meetings are canceled.
